Presidente:
THE last monday we contact a women named Martha i saw her two times ..she almost enter her house and i felt stronger the spirit telling me !!Contact to her!! And when we were talking with her she started to cry and she told us that her son of fifteen years old had died some days ago .We asked to her if we could offer a pray and we made it. then we can listen her feelings and of their relatives who were there trying to support her . Then we could shared with them a short message about the plan of salvation and Martha showed to us a new light in her eyes . I am so grateful to know the gospel and the plan of my Heavenly Father prepared to return with him one day if i am obediant .And i am happier than before because now i can shared with all the people :D with all my brothers and sisters.....

Reasons to Celebrate this Holiday Season...

Christmas Devotionals
The theme for this year was
"What Shall I Give?"
Three days of Christmas devotionals were held December 15,16,17 in different locations throughout the mission. The annual flu vaccine didn't arrive and so I will reschedule those.. (I'm positive no one was sad...)  I will administer those when they arrive. The devotional started with zone pictures at 10:45 and then at 11:00 the devotional began. Each zone presented a musical number during the program. Following the spiritual theme of "What Shall I Give" everyone moved into the beautifully decorated cultural hall where zone leaders or a special companionship was asked to help Hermana Egbert decorate and set up for lunch. Jose from Mexico City who caters this annual event for us brought in lunch and even made a special trip to Costco in Mexico City and brought in pumpkin pies - which really was a slice of heaven. Day 1 Cordon Bleu - Day 2 Turkey/Ham Dinner - Day 3 Lasagna Buffet
Then packages from home, Christmas Cards from amazing members of a missionaries family were handed out along with the First Presidency Christmas Card.
Everyone returned back to their areas by 2:30 pm.

President and I will deliver packages that arrive the first few days of this week on Thursday. We aren't quite as fast as Santa's sleigh- but we divide the mission in half and travel in opposite directions the entire day dropping off last minute boxes. If your missionaries box arrives after Wednesday it will be delivered with normal pouch on a weekly basis.
Though only less than 1/3 got boxes this year- we are grateful for those missionaries who will share and we realize that the mission is a great place to remember the true meaning of Christmas. On Christmas Day district class will be held and then service projects that have been arranged and approved will take place. Christmas Day is a perfect opportunity to provide service which is a great reminder of how meaningful serving others reminds us of our Savior Jesus Christ. (The real reason for this season) Late afternoon/evening the missionaries will call home for a maximum time of 1 hour per missionary in total time. If two sets of parents need to be called a 1/2 hour will be used per call. Thank you to parents and family for helping keep them obedient to the holiday protocol. Please keep conversations upbeat and positive- We know they are missing you and that you miss them, however like you, we know they are where they are supposed to be giving the greatest gift mankind can receive that will help others celebrate the adult Christ ALL year long and ALL life long.
Merry Christmas from Mision Mexico Pachuca.

Special thanks to the missionaries who willing took my camera and helped take pictures.

Hola Presidente,
Where do I start? This week has been amazing. Thank you for putting me with the best trainer there ever was. Not to mention I'm in the best mission in the world. Haha!
Anyways, I've learned so much this week. I've already been blessed so much. Through our hard work we've been able to find great people. And I've learned sooo much Spanish. I'm already seeing the blessings of this work. I feel like I'm starting to lose myself. I can only imagine what can come.
Again I say thank you for all. I have the best companion. He has akready taught me so much. I feel like we're really good friends. I hope he feels the same way.

con amor,
Elder J

Knowing my purpose here is just the greatest relief ever. To be completely honest, I came on a mission for myself, to be a better mom for my future kids and a better wife and to gain experience. And it was a little dificult to just be here for those reasons. But now I have the actual desire to bring others to Christ and to help them return to Heavenly Father and it is a relief! I look forward to contacting and our lessons and I want lessons in every minute of every day!
Heavenly Father has one goal and desire and purpose, and like it says in Moses, 'To bring to pass the immortality and Eternal Life of Man'. Which Eternal Life is Exaltation like it says in PMG. And basically that is to live with Him again. And Jesus Christ loves Heavenly Father so much that He came to Earth and suffered so we could. I understand! I have that same desire now as well. Heavenly Father has done so much for me, I can help Him accomplish His desire to see all of His children return to Him. It feels really good to finally feel this :) Thank you so much for yours and Hermana Egberts prayers this week! And thank you for all of your council and guidance for us. I appreciate everything you do for me!
Con amor,
Hermana H
